NGM Resources Limited (ASX:NGM) is a diversified mineral exploration company with a focus on uranium and base metals. Headquartered in Perth, the company has agreements covering uranium exploration projects in Niger, West Africa, and metal exploration projects in Madagascar, Southern Africa.
In Niger, West Africa, NGM Resources’ subsidiary Indo Energy Limited is the holder of three granted uranium concessions. The concessions are in the highly prospective Tim Merso? basin, where uranium has been mined and supplied to Europe for the past thirty years. Niger is the world’s fourth largest producer of uranium. Due to the security situation in Niger, field work has been suspended on this project and a return to normal operating conditions is awaited.
In Madagascar NGM originally held 5,000 km2 of tenements , mainly related to nickel exploration. It currently holds 469 km2 of tenements prospective for gold, iron and heavy minerals.
NGM Resources’ board and management are technically and commercially experienced in exploring and developing projects both within Australia and internationally.
